Using testimonials is another way to take advantage of the crowd effect and is one of the most trusted signals to customers. According to Nielsen, 83% of customers trust recommendations from someone they know and 66% trust what other customers post online. If possible, share details about the customer who responded, including their name and where they live (in case they approve, of course). It's not hard to create fake testimonials, so make people think you're completely honest in sharing previous customer testimonials.

2. Call-to-action editing
As mentioned above, landing pages often serve a single purpose. The fastest way to get customers to take a specific action is to make the "call" as clear as possible.

If you don't design your call-to-action in a place that's easy to see, you won't be able to directly motivate people to take action. Most of us usually spend less than 15 seconds looking at any website, which means we only accept scrolling down when we feel intrigued within the first 15 seconds. Customers will glimpse the landing page and their brains decide whether to stay or leave.

Use strong words
Avoid using generic words or business jargon. Use common words but still have a certain “weight” enough to make the customer “definitely have to do something” instead of walking away empty-handed.

Use active language
Always remember that CTA was born to tell customers: “Do it!”. Use verbs that inspire action, like: “Join Now”, “Subscribe” or “Download Now”.

Create a highlight
The CTA needs to be different from everything else on the landing page, but still be consistent with the design and theme.

Short and concise
The best CTAs will say the most with the fewest words, so Job Function Email List limit them to between 90 – 150 characters, which is equivalent to 5 to 7 words. If the CTA is too long, it will be difficult for you to impress your customers. In cases where the CTA is too short, it may not convey enough of the message and prompt the customer to take immediate action.

Personalized
For example, instead of writing the CTA as “Start today” (“Start today”), you could write it as: “Start your trial today” (“Start your trial today”).

3. Remove navigation
Clear links and navigation are great to use in content marketing and websites to help visitors get to your desired destination, but this is not suitable for landing pages. Landing page should be the final destination and you should not direct customers to anywhere else. Remove navigation from your landing page and avoid linking to content marketing at all costs.

In addition, you should also use a pop-up template that appears based on customer behavior, for example when a customer hovers over the top of the page. This pop-up template should encourage them to stay and draw attention to the call-to-action.
