The general support (the floor) is made of cut and painted polystyrene. For animation and lighting I found on the net 12 volt motors with a reduction for a few euros, LEDs and connectors, fiber optics for the stars in the sky, etc. Everything works at 3 and 12 volts. by switches and a remote control for color changes. Each house is independent and is connected to the electrical circuits by a multi-pin connector. So everything can be disassembled and held in a bass drum that is easy to store! Do you have any other ideas for your next 3D printing project? Next ideas…? maybe enlarge the crib because I have too many figurines! Otherwise we'll see.

To be continued! Some pictures of the result Apart from having a image manipulation service dad who greatly surpasses me in 3D printing ( I'm jealous! ), I publish his work to echo the renewal of tools and techniques with people who have experienced modeling and 3D printing before and the internet front. I wonder if in 40 years, we like me will be able to make this effort of thought and discovery to appropriate tools that are totally foreign to us, if it will be difficult, easy, if it will allow us to still do this what we were able to do in 2017…When the old shops of Tokyo become superb watercolors Written by Geoffrey Dorne theFebruary 16, 2017 A comment The beauty of a city often comes from the fact that we don't know it yet.

A kind of visual love at first sight since we compare everything we discover with what we already know and this comparison is very stimulating for our brain! This is what happened to Mateusz Urbanowicz alias Mattō, a talented illustrator who says: “When I moved to Tokyo more than 3 years ago, I was really surprised during my walks, by all these stores still in operation in really old buildings. Unlike Kobe, where the earthquake obliterated many of these old downtown homes and shops, in Tokyo they still survive.
